What's New - Prowler Project is Finished!

The prowler owned by Gene Cox was finally finished and delivered to Maryland on May 6 2006.  I just wanted to say thank you to the East Coast Posse for their hospitality to me, my wife, and Jeff Towns from Predator Performance. We had a great time and enjoyed meeting all the Prowler owners very much.

I think I can say Gene was a happy camper when his Prowler finally rolled out of the trailer in Maryland that Saturday. I was pleased to have Gene shake my hand and tell me that I hit the mark with the car. After spending almost six months talking with Gene on the phone or in person, I realized Gene is a particular car guy, so hearing that from him was a great reward for all the time spent on the car.

Well let’s talk about the car. This was a great project to work on. This car was stripped down and totally reskinned. The TGF body kit looks awesome fully frenched into the body!! It was a lot of work but I knew that is was worth it when the car was totally assembled for the first time after being in pieces for 2 months. The shaved door handles came out great, giving the car a truly smooth appearance. As for the rear wing this was a challenge to get this wing to look correct and fit correctly. The wing had to undergo a little corrective surgery, but did well under the knife and made a great recovery. The pedestals on the wing had to be lengthened in order to get the correct ride height, angle, and allow for the feet to be molded to the trunk. I think the wing was a success judging by the response other prowler owners had for it.
